Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Ground Chicken (90/10 lean)
1/4 cup Soy Sauce (low-sodium)
2 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, minced
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 tsp Cornstarch
1 tbsp Neutral Oil

Instructions

Whisk the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch in a small bowl until completely smooth.
Set the mixture aside to ensure the cornstarch integrates.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with one tablespoon of neutral oil.
Add the ground chicken to the pan and break it apart with a wooden spatula.
Cook the chicken until no pink remains and it begins to brown at the edges.
Pour the prepared sauce directly over the browned chicken.
Stir constantly for two minutes as the sauce bubbles and thickens into a glaze.

Notes

Serve over steamed jasmine rice or quinoa for a complete meal. Add steamed broccoli or snap peas for extra fiber. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
