Ingredients

Scale

4 lbs Beef Back Ribs, thick meat coverage
1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Smoked Paprika
1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
1 tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
1 cup Tomato-based BBQ Sauce

Instructions

Remove the silver skin membrane from the bone side of the ribs using a butter knife.
Pat the ribs completely dry with paper towels.
Mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl.
Massage the dry rub generously onto all sides of the beef ribs until evenly coated.
Preheat your grill to medium heat, setting up for indirect grilling.
Place the ribs on the indirect side of the grill and cook for approximately 75 minutes, closing the lid to maintain humidity.
Brush the ribs liberally with your preferred BBQ sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
Remove from the grill once the meat reaches your desired tenderness and allow them to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Ensure you manage grill heat consistently to prevent the sugar in the rub from burning. If using a charcoal grill, add wood chips for extra smoke flavor. Always use beef back ribs as specified to ensure they remain juicy.
