It is the perfect light, cooling, and crowd-pleasing meal choice for warm afternoons and outdoor gatherings, offering a harmonious balance of savory and sweet flavors without any heavy preparation.

Ingredients

Scale

16 oz Rotini Pasta
2 cups Grape Tomatoes, halved
8 oz Mozzarella Pearls, drained
1 cup Fresh Basil Leaves, torn
3 tbsp Balsamic Glaze
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Kosher Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

Boil a large pot of salted water over high heat.
Add the pasta and cook according to the package directions until al dente.
Drain the pasta using a colander and rinse immediately under cold running water.
Transfer the chilled pasta to a large mixing bowl.
Slice the grape tomatoes into halves to expose the inner juices.
Combine the tomatoes and drained mozzarella pearls with the cooled noodles.
Add the torn fresh basil leaves directly to the mixture.
Whisk the olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then drizzle over the salad and toss gently to combine.

Notes

Rinsing the pasta thoroughly with cold water is essential to prevent clumping and keep the texture light. Hand-tear the basil to prevent it from bruising and losing its vibrant color. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but bring to room temperature before serving for the best flavor profile.
