Ingredients

Scale

2 lbs Fresh Green Beans, trimmed and snapped
2 cans (10.5 oz each) Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 cup Whole Milk
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
6 oz Crispy Fried Onions, divided
1/2 teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

Wash the fresh green beans thoroughly and trim the ends to ensure a uniform texture.
In a small bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until smooth.
Place the prepared green beans into the base of a 6-quart slow cooker.
Pour the soup mixture over the beans and stir gently until they are evenly coated.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on the low setting for 3 hours.
Stir in half of the crispy fried onions during the final 15 minutes of cooking.
Sprinkle the remaining fried onions over the top of the casserole just before serving.

Notes

Trim the green beans to a uniform length to ensure they cook evenly. If you prefer a stronger mushroom flavor, you can add a few sautéed mushrooms during the final hour of cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
